DR LIU YANSHU
Chairman
Dr Liu YanShu is the Chairman of Investment and Trade in HG21 Group. A capable leader in the Corporate and Trade circle based in Beijing, The People’s Republic of China, Dr Liu is a native of Shandong.
Dr Liu receives all her tertiary education from Bachelor’s Degree until Doctoral Degree from some of the most prestigious institutions of higher learning in The People’s Republic of China.
Dr Liu specializes in global economic and wealth advisory and management; hence, her ability to link trade and commerce in various countries for development on an inter-continental level is truly outstanding. Her passion in seeing the end to global hunger by placing emphasis on food security, education, economic development and growth is deeply rooted in the philosophy of “Prospering Thy Neighbor” envisioned by Chairman Xi JinPing of The People’s Republic of China.
In her vast portfolio, Dr Liu is presently involved in the economic, education, trade and commerce activities across several continents namely in Asia, Oceania, Africa, Europe and South America.
PROFESSOR DR JAMES NGA CHIN LIK
Managing Director
Professor James Nga received his tertiary education from across the nations and continents around the globe. His undergraduate Bachelor’s degree is from Canada; two Masters’ Degrees are from Scotland, United Kingdom (UK) and the United States of America (USA); a Doctoral Degree from Australia; and is currently pending the completion of another Doctoral Degree from Malaysia.
Currently, Professor Nga is the President of a Malaysian University; President of d.school Malaysia (dedicated to Design Thinking affiliated with the Hasso Plattner Institute Germany; Stanford University d.school and the Global Design Thinking Alliance – GDTA); the President of Association of Belt and Road Southeast Asia (BASE); and Chairman of He’ Global (affiliated directly to He’ Foundation of The People’s Republic of China), a Centre for promotion of peace through education and training.
Professor Nga specializes in Teaching and Research in the fields of Strategic Management, Organization, Marketing and Design Thinking mainly at the Postgraduate Master’s and Doctoral levels. He is passionate in economic development; human capital development; poverty elimination and disaster mitigation; and sustainability and renewable energy.
FRANKIE KS CHIA
Marketing Director
Frankie Chia received all his education locally in Malaysia. A native Selangorian and growing up by the seaside, Frankie understands his local culture and business community well.
Through his years of professional and personal engagements, Frankie has developed extensive experience and exposure in commodities products sourcing and bulk trading i.e. ICUMSA 45, CP10, PKE, maize, chicken paws and including the purchase of bauxite to China.
Frankie is a mandate holder for several trading and logistics companies in sourcing and price negotiation for these consumable products from Brazil, Thailand, Kazakhstan and Singapore for trading with various corporations especially in China markets.
Additionally, Frankie is currently the main person in charge of a joint venture (JV) negotiation between a local healthcare company and a Singapore based investment company for the establishment of a local healthcare company leading towards the IPO.
Frankie’s knowledge of forwarding and shipping procedures and its policies have provided great assistance in the development and advancement of China Sea Inspection (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd.
As a concern and responsible member of the community and citizens of Malaysia, Frankie is a devoted and active member of various community organisations in the local community throughout the country including the Malaysia Community Policing in Batu Pahat, Johor.
DAT0' NAVIN NATHAN
Business Development Director
Dato’ Dr. Navin Nathan is an esteemed business professional with a diverse and accomplished career. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Business Administration and Finance from the renowned University of Northumbria, Newcastle.
Beginning his illustrious career as an entrepreneur and economic consultant in the late 1990s, Dato’ Dr. Navin quickly established himself as a successful and respected figure in the business world. In 2006, he was appointed as a Committee Member of Finance for the Senate House, Kuala Lumpur (Kelab Senator Malaysia), where he contributed his expertise to financial decision-making processes.
Beyond 2015, Dato’ Dr. Navin assumed the role of Chairman, Economic Development of the Malaysia Economic Chamber of Commerce (Dewan Perniagaan Asia Pasifik), playing a pivotal role in fostering economic growth and promoting collaborations among businesses.
In 2018, he took on the esteemed Director of International Relations position at the Malaysia Economic Development Council. In this role, he worked diligently to build strategic relationships and facilitate international business opportunities for Malaysia.
Since 2020, Dato’ Dr. Navin has held the position of Director of International Relations & Strategic Investments at the Malaysia Economic Development Berhad & MEDB Capital Berhad. During this time, he successfully spearheaded numerous strategic investment initiatives, contributing to the growth and development of Malaysia’s economy.
Dato’ Dr. Navin currently holds the position of Deputy Chairman at Shah Bullion Trading, specializing in International Trading of Precious Metal, operating regionally and internationally across Asia and Africa regions. He also currently serves as a valued board member of Instrak Venture Capital Berhad, leveraging his extensive experience and expertise to guide the organization’s strategic direction and promote its success.
In the social circle, Dato’ Dr. Navin has contributed immensely as the Chartered President of the Rotary Club of Taman Tun Dr Ismail as well as a Committee Member of the Rotary Club of Putrajaya. He is currently on the Board of Directors for the Rotary Club of Rahman Putra. Dato’ Dr. Navin also spearheaded and underwritten scholarships to assist hard-core poor students through Edu Assist Foundation Malaysia as the current Managing Director.
